Negril's first discoverers were "colour children," hippie, in the early 1970s, who fell in love with this valley on the beach. The hippies were followed by normal clothes, and the construction of luxury hotels started. In the 1980s, hippies returned here, developing Negril's glory, but in another capacity, they were lawyers, doctors, businessmen who came to their favorite places every year for a few weeks. Negril does not take too many places in world history. Open in 1494 and named by the Spanish Negrillo, this town was constantly hand-held. Spaniards were seen here, and the Englishman.
Negril's just for research. There's only one street in town. The hotels are usually not above two floors, and each bypass can use the beach for a symbolic fee of several Roma in a local bar. As Negril's resort was opened by American hippies, who founded a colony here at the beginning of the '60s.
