Alenthejo is one of the largest provinces in Portugal and occupies almost one third of its territory, with the population density being one of the lowest in the country. This is due to the fact that the region is home to agriculture, but tourists also have popularity. This is where we go for a calm and private vacation, long walks on painting landscapes and acquaintance with a self-propelled kitchen.
The best time to meet this region will be months from May to October, and the beach rest in Alentejo is best planned in the summer.

One of the largest cities in the province is the city of Evora, which has been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here you will find many paintings and historic sites that have been well preserved to our days.
It would also be interesting to visit the ruins of the city of Beja, which is considered the oldest. It is also worth visiting an old castle from the marble, the quote of the Elvas Roman-Mavritian builders and a lot of other things.

Despite the small flow of recreational activities, many high-level hotels are represented, and eco-tourism may become a mere tour in Alentejo in 2016.
