The sunnyest island of Adriatica is the island of Hwar. Small, cozy medieval cities, numerous miniature booths and the inexorable smell of lavanda that feels everywhere, soft climate and turbulent vegetation make this island one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thanks to this, no matter how many times a year, there are always many tourists here. According to scientists, the island ' s settlement took place around the fourth century. Hwar was known as the Greek colony Pharos, from here on to his modern name. In a few centuries, the island was plunged into Catholics, Visantians and Muslims.

The old town on Hwar was founded in 385. Today, we can see the Greek walls, the palace of Peter Hectorovich with the pond and the magnificent arches.

Brbska is at the bottom of a deep fall. The 16th century Church and several stone houses along both sides of the coast, linked to countless bridges, are referred to as the terrestrial terrain. Vrbski is the only fish museum on Adriatic.

The main city of the island is Mr. Hwar. When you enter the city harbour, there's a great beauty in your face: a massive hill covered by all possible vegetation, which has a huge tower castle. In Hwar there is the oldest public European theatre built in 1612 on one of the city ' s areas. It's not enough to surprise tourists with their greatness and unwritten beauty of the city's cafeteria, with the original bell, rich risp and pictures of old masters. The architectural ensemble of the assembly has been met in accordance with all the requirements of the classic Renezance.

Undeniably, Hwar isn't just an ordinary island in Adriatic, where it's possible to rest in the summer and winter. Thanks to the particularly winter climate and turbine vegetation, Hwar Island is often referred to as the Croatian Madera. Of particular interest is the partially covered Pucklena, small islands with sand and galka beaches, especially nudists. For submarine fishermen, the rocky sea bottom of Hwar is just a find. There's a mid-century fortress in the underground forest that grows above the beach.

Botanical garden. The pervasive islands are yachtsmen who have long loved this place.
