Soneva Jani is a real oasis in the sea of everyday bustle nestled in one of the most beautiful corners of the world and surrounded by wild untouched nature. The resort is located on Madhufaru Island along the Edufaaru Lagoon. The main island covered with rainforest has white sand beaches.
During the construction of the resort, everything possible was done to reduce the negative impact on nature. The resort's pools use sea water with UV filtration. The villas themselves were built on the sandy bottom of the lagoon, without any harm to the local reef. Solar panels provide the resort's electricity, while recycling takes place at the hotel's Ecological Center. The vegetables needed for the restaurant are grown in a special vegetable garden created at Soneva Jani.
Guests can choose from twenty-five luxury villas, both on stilts over the water and on the beach, each of which guarantees peace and privacy. Fascinating views of the ocean will create a unique atmosphere, and personal concierges will fulfill any wishes. The hotel has taken care of the little things that set the mood: the villas are equipped with swimming pools and water slides, the ceiling in the bedroom moves apart at the touch of a button, allowing you to sleep under the tropical starry sky. At the first drops of rain, the ceiling automatically returns to its place.

All villas are designed to offer maximum space, privacy and unforgettable views. The villas are divided into Chapter One and the newly launched Chapter Two.
Chapter one. There are 25 villas to accommodate guests, 24 of them are located in the lagoon over the water, and one villa is located on the beach. Like all Soneva villas, the spacious villas of the hotel are built with sustainable materials. Eva Shivdasani - the founder of the Soneva brand, along with Sonu Shivdasani, designed villas. Each water villa has its own private pool and lagoon access. Some villas have a water slide that descends from the top veranda to the water. Each villa's master bedroom has a retractable roof, allowing guests to enjoy stargazing views.
Chapter two. The 27 new one to four bedroom overwater villas are slightly larger than our original overwater villas. Located steps from the beach, they include private pools and spacious indoor and outdoor living areas.
