Malaysia is open

The Malaysian authorities allowed foreign tourists to enter Langkawi Kurt Island. Boundaries are open to all but eight African countries:

South Africa
Botswana
Eswatini
Lesotho
Mozambique
Namibia
Zimbabwe
Malawi

Entry into the country is subject to certain conditions

Before leaving:

To have an English-language vaccination certificate.
Unaccompanied children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by vaccinated parents or guardians.
To have a medical tourist insurance with a fee to treat a cowid at least $80,000.
To have the result of a test made not earlier than 48 hours before leaving (English).
Have a passport with a life of at least six months and a return ticket.
Put MySejahtera on the phone and fill out the form.

Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur:

1. Pass a prepaid cove test in Kuala Lumpur.

Cost of PCD in Kuala Lumpur (1.5 hours expected) - USD 120.00
Langkawi test PCR cost (1 hour waiting) - USD 105.00
Langkawi test PCR cost (4 hours waiting) - USD 85.00

During rest on Langkawi Island:

1. Give additional mandatory tests (RTK Antigen) at a special centre for 3 and 5 days of arrival on the island (value 1 RTK Antigen test - USD 26.00).

2. To pass the test for 2.4,6 days (3 self-study kits will be issued to you by hyd when you meet at the airport). 3 tests - USD 14.50

3. The island can only be traveled with a licensed hyde.

If you choose to visit Kuala Lumpur or other Malaysian tourist destinations, you have the right to leave Langkawi on the mainland, which is not in the quarantine.
