There are about 60 girls between the ages of 11 and 19 in grades 4 to 7.     Basic academic year

    The Surval Montreux School invites students aged 13 to attend the basic curriculum of the American High School or the International Secondary Education Certificate (IGCSE) and the Full Secondary Education Certificate (A Levels). The programme may be studied in any year, including cases where students wish to learn from the international environment prior to the commencement of the regular curriculum in their country. Students can use this year to combine an academic programme with the Swarval cooking.

    The basic school year programme places a strong emphasis on English (the main language of communication at school), French or other. The programme includes mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, humanitarian sciences, music and art, as well as physical culture and life safety education. A unique component of our course is an expanded learning project that enables all our girls to work independently, learning in depth the various topics and subjects of interest.     American High School Programme

    Having received the IGCSE,Students go to sixth grade and learn from the AS and Advanced Levels (A2) programme, the successful completion of which allows for university or other programmes and careers. In junior sixth grade (Y12 in Great Britain, 11th grade in the USA), students select four subjects for in-depth study. Girls are comfortable, and we, as a small school, can make the learning process as interesting and exciting as possible. Students then go to the sixth grade (Y13 in Great Britain, 12th grade in the United States) where they already study three, some of the four subjects, or they can choose a new subject for AS Level.

    Free arts

    The unique and attractive offer of the Suroval School of Humanities for students who want to spend a school year abroad, in-depth study of interesting subjects without the need to pass further examinations. Most girls use this opportunity to benefit from a year after school before entering university or college.
