There are about 60 girls between the ages of 11 and 19 in grades 4 to 7. The Montreux Suval, having met the requirements of the AdvancED Accreditation Commission and the Guardian Council, has been accredited by the North-central Joint Commission on School Accreditation and Development. The International and Transregional Accreditation Commission (CITA) is the Advanced Worldwide branch.

Basic academic year

The Surval Montreux School invites students aged 13 to attend the basic curriculum of the American High School or the International Secondary Education Certificate (IGCSE) and the Full Secondary Education Certificate (A Levels). The programme may be studied in any year, including cases where students wish to learn from the international environment prior to the commencement of the regular curriculum in their country. Students can use this year to combine an academic programme with the Swarval cooking.

The basic school year programme places a strong emphasis on English (the main language of communication at school), French or other. The programme includes mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, humanitarian sciences, music and art, as well as physical culture and life safety education. A unique component of our course is an expanded learning project that enables all our girls to work independently, learning in depth the various topics and subjects of interest. The call to expand the round-the-crossing, which makes it possible to think and motivate the programme to develop self-study and project management skills.

American High School Programme

An international training programme and an international specimen are needed by students planning to attend colleges, business schools or other institutions.United States, Canada and Latin American institutions of higher education. IGCSE

IGCSE is the most common international programme for children of 14-16 years.
IGCSE provides excellent training for further training, including AS and A Levels, as well as other areas. It includes the best achievements of international education for students at this level. The programme is constantly changing and expanding according to time requirements. We are proud to be given the status of Cambridge School and that our examinations are conducted according to the standards of this prestigious organization.

IGCSE is built on the principle of student orientation and learning development. It develops learning skills with a focus on creative thinking and challenges by preparing students for the next stage of education. A separate certificate is issued for each item. We offer a great choice of subjects, and we make a program individually for each of our students. AS and Advanced Levels (A2)

Having received the IGCSE,Students go to sixth grade and learn from the AS and Advanced Levels (A2) programme, the successful completion of which allows for university or other programmes and careers. In junior sixth grade (Y12 in Great Britain, 11th grade in the USA), students select four subjects for in-depth study. Girls are comfortable, and we, as a small school, can make the learning process as interesting and exciting as possible. Students then go to the sixth grade (Y13 in Great Britain, 12th grade in the United States) where they already study three, some of the four subjects, or they can choose a new subject for AS Level.

Free arts

The unique and attractive offer of the Suroval School of Humanities for students who want to spend a school year abroad, in-depth study of interesting subjects without the need to pass further examinations. Most girls use this opportunity to benefit from a year after school before entering university or college. One time needs to be taken to understand itself and their interests, others, depending on the education system in their country, want to spend a year with secondary education and benefit from a unique developing programme in a company of friends from different countries.

The main component of the Free Arts programme is the Business and Enterprise course, which includes the organization and management of a charitable foundation, business leadership and socially responsible enterprise.

In our camps only for girls, we offer the largest number of hours per week to study the language in all summer camps in Switzerland - 20 hours per week.
