General

The Villa La Massa is located on the vice shore of the Arnau River in the Candela area of Florence. The hotel complex, which drowns in green gardens and parks, consists of three luxury old mansions built in the 16th century in Medici. For several centuries, Villa Nobile, Vecchio Frantoio and Villina were owned by many famous families: their owners were famous senators, ambassadors and writers of Italy, England and Russia. In 1948, the villas were turned into a hotel that preserved the enchantment of the rebirth and aristocracy traditions. Since then, many famous guests have visited the Villa La Massa Hotel, including Clark Gable, Winston Churchill, Elizabeth Taylor.

In 1999, Villa La Massa was purchased by the Villa d'Este Hotels group, the hotel was fully renovated and updated: rooms were now equipped for the last word of equipment, but special attention was paid to the design of the interns. Old wooden and oven furniture, baldahine beds, best Italian tissues, marbles created a luxury, calm and comfort atmosphere.

But the greatest pride of the hotel remains a magnificent olive park and an endless fruit garden. Villa La Massa is located on the vice shore of the Arnau River in the southern suburb of Florence Candeli 8 kilometres from the centre of the city, near the famous regions of Kianti Classico, Gallo Nero and Rufin.

In 20 minutes, the taxi will deliver guests to Peretola airport (6km) or Santa Maria Novella station, where the trains follow the main directions of Italy: Rome, Milan, Bologna and Venice.

Each room is unique, however, in a traditional Florence style combining village simplicity and calm and modern comfort. Simply and light bedrooms and living rooms are provided with antique wooden and furnaces. The tissues used for separation were manufactured in one of the oldest Florence textiles. The bathrooms (vannah, shower, two sinks, toilets, bat) are equipped with exclusive accessories and marble carar and have one or more windows.
