The hotel is located in Sorrento, on a rock above the sea at 50 metre altitude. Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, a complex composed of 3 buildings: La Vittoria, La Favorita, La Rivale, built from 1834 to 1880. He's surrounded by orange gardens. The owners try to keep a special old atmosphere in the interns: the hotel rooms are filled with antique furniture, and the frescoes are stolen. There's a wonderful view of the Naples Gulf and the Vesuvius volcano. The Complex has been taking celebrities in his walls, and among his guests were Richard Wagner, Luciano Pavarotti, Sophie Lauren, English Princess Margaret.
