Villa Principe Leopoldo was named after the Russian Prince, Friedrich Leopolde (1865-1931), a famous general from the cavalry of the royal dynasty of the Gogenzollers, who was headed from the beginning of the sixteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century. Shureen Kaiser Vilgelma, Friedrich-Leopold lived in the villa until his death, and he has received many venzen guests, European aristocracies and famous political figures here.
In 1986, the vegetable villa and the opposite building of Residence Principe Leopoldo were converted into a top-class resort, even in the background of the prestigious area of Lugano. The postmodernist diversity of the villas and the impressive eclectic of the stylices of rebirth and Ar Decaux form an amazing harmonious composite involving a bright Italian ball, a warm Mediterranean atmosphere and a fabulous combination with open species of lasure lake and proud alpicine.
