Hotel description
The hotel is located between seas and mountains near the centre of Kalvi town on the north-west coast of Corsiki. There are excavating species on the bay, scattered sea lanes and the settlement of Calvi, with a long-lasting force of historic fortress. In the area where the hotel is now located, there was a traditional Roman villa and a successor monastery. After the land was abandoned, it returned to its perennial state, and the fruits of civilization drowned in green buoy vegetation. It was only in 1992 that the current owner of the hotel, Jean-Pierre Pinelli, had a dream of establishing his own hotel. Together with Architect Stefan Maresh, he developed a draft building and a vision for the development of his child. The La Villa Corps, which are built in classic Mediterranean style and reminds surrounding trees, as well as the settlements of northern Italy, have been recruited on the hills of an extra garden adjusted by designers ' designs: cyparis trees, world gardens, dense arts have now become themselves and play an important artistic role in master ' s projects. The same emphasis on each detail is also visible in the scrupulously developed room interfaces, where " eternal material " is predominant: stone, six-charcoal stove and a polished tree. Instead of a common Mediterranean tumor, the designers of Philippe Hurel and Juli Priska were able to create a special place with carefully designed lighting, fiction, carpets and pictures.
It seems like the building and surrounding landscapes are in absolute harmony, contributing to a unique sense of calm and internal harmony. The hotel complex also includes: Anne Semonin spa centre, 4 basins (2 of which are heated), the Fitness Centre, the Hummas, their own beach and restaurant.
Since 1995, the hotel has entered the prestigious Relais chain of Chateaux.
