The hotel is located 8 kilometres from the National Park of Eddo, in the Sundays River Valley (Sandace River), 65 kilometres from Port Elizabeth Airport. The Sandays River Valley is known for the production of citrus fruit, where one of the world's best lemons grow. Every year, more than 12 million fibreboard boxes are sent to the northern hemisphere. The Elephant House is a small safari hotel where a pleasant privacy can be combined with the unique experience of safari in Eddo National Park and other protected areas nearby. The hotel complex consists of the main building and several individual stone-cooked boilers built in the shiny " rural " houses built by straw.
